I was surprised by how poorly equipped the kitchenette was-no toaster or even a proper knife to slice bread. The fridge was just a tiny bar fridge packed with things for sale, leaving no space for our stuff. Really disappointing!

The venue was clean and the staff were very very nice. We stayed in a big size and vintage room and having kitchenette on site was a bonus. The breakfast was tasty and on sight. The accommodation had a very central location to restaurant district.

What a lovely little find! The location is super central, just a short walk to some fab coffee shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and cozy, and the bed? Absolutely divine! I'd definitely consider extending my stay just for that. Plus, the friendly staff made me feel right at home - you can't beat that personal touch!
A few things could use a bit of love though. The air conditioner was a bit noisy, and I noticed the shower had some leaking issues. just a heads-up: there are no lifts and the stairs can be a bit steep, so be prepared for that after a long day of exploring!

It's a quiet spot, perfect for relaxation, and nearby cafes add convenience. The breakfast was good, though the ambiance could use a bit more life. A great choice for a laid-back getaway!

Great value for money; very friendly hotel staff; great location and view; beautiful architecture; stylish/historic ambience; comfortable dinner athmosphere
King size bed with soft centre dent; thin plastic toilet seat; staff was unaware that pool and sauna were closed over winter

It featured appliances that allowed me to prepare my own breakfast, which I greatly appreciated. The large, nicely appointed bathroom provided a touch of luxury, and I loved the character of the old building that overlooked the football field, making my experience even more nice.
I did notice that the space could really do with a declutter and some updates. While this was minor, it was evident that a little modernization would enhance the overall ambiance of the charming hotel.

The room was loveley, bright and airy the view superb.
Not enough bench space in the bathroom, and no where to hang anything both in the bathroom, and the wardrobe was not easy to access. But a thoroughly enjoyable 3 days.Cheers

We enjoyed a good six-day getaway at Rydges, and it exceeded our expectations. The charm of the building and our spacious room made our stay nice. The convenient near parking was a bonus as we arrived with a rental car. We loved the delicious breakfast, and the friendly staff added a personal touch to our experience. With easy access to fantastic local restaurants and a lovely 30-minute walk to the city center, we found the location to be quite advantageous.
I can recommend this hotel.
